You Can Study Engineering With Your Grade Nine Certificate At False Bay TVET College



The training landscape is evolving, and False Bay TVET College is on the forefront, recognizing that the traditional school design is not the only effective means of studying. Their NCV programmes are created for college students who would like to begin their journey toward a fulfilling vocation early on.

CareersPortal.co.za had a chat with the Head of Division for Engineering Studies at False Bay College, with regards to their different courses.

False Bay's Engineering NCV programmes are presented at two campuses: Westlake Campus and Khayelitsha Campus. These Engineering programmes are for a 3-year length.

NCV Engineering Course Entry Prerequisites

These classes commence at NCV level 2 and the minimum requirement would then be Grade 9 certificate with a pass in Mathematics.

Once the student finishes NCVLevel 2, they would then have attained a grade 10 certificate. NCV Level three would be grade eleven and NCV Level four is grade 12.

NCV Level four is at the exit level, becoming equivalent to a Nationwide Senior Certificate (NSC).

Grade 9 is on NQF level 1. Our NCV programmes start NCV stage two that is equivalent to an NQF level 2.

On which kind of check here students are suited to these programmes, they say that the world is acknowledging that common schooling is not really always the one way of getting an artisan or turning into experienced therefore if a student knows from an early age what their pursuits are, the NCV programme is actually properly fitted to that student.
